  13. In the year 2143 a space ship was launched from the planet 
  14. Earth to explore the uncharted Axium Galaxy.  What made this
  15. collection of planets so interesting was the fact that each 
  16. one had a temple built centuries earlier by some unknown race
  17. of beings. Each temple consisted of a single room in which 
  18. there was a unique puzzle. The mission to the Axium Galaxy 
  19. was to solve all the puzzles in order to find out more about
  20. this strange enigma.

  23. OBJECTIVE
  24.  
  25. The objective is for you to reach the red control panel 
  26. located in each puzzle.  Before you can open the control panel, 
  27. you must first get the yellow key.  Using various objects like 
  28. crates, meteor balls and other items, you must figure out a 
  29. solution to each of the puzzles.

  32. GAME PLAY
  33.  
  34. To play click on the SELECT button at the bottom of the game 
  35. board.  Select a puzzle by clicking on the number of the 
  36. puzzle you want to load.  The puzzles that have been solved 
  37. already will have a green border around them.  
  38.  
  39. When the puzzle has been loaded, you move your man by using the 
  40. arrow keys on the keyboard. The Demonstration puzzle will take 
  41. you through a sample puzzle and show you all the different objects 
  42. you might encounter.  This will help you get accustomed to the 
  43. game play.

  45. There is at least one solution to every puzzle and many have 
  46. several solutions.  Are you able to solve them all?

  49. GAME  OBJECTS
  50.  
  51. WALLS:
  52. These cannot be moved 
  53.  
  54. TRANSPORT HOLES:
  55. These holes appear in pairs.  If you go into one, you will be 
  56. transported to the other one.  Crates and meteors balls will 
  57. vanish from the game board if pushed into one of these holes.
  58.  
  59. GRILLS:
  60. You can push meteor balls and crates over a grill that has not 
  61. been activated, however, your man can only step on them once.
  62. The grills will activate and rise out of the floor once your 
  63. man has passed over them.  Once activated, they cannot be moved 
  64. or passed through.
  65.  
  66. CONES & GREEN BUTTON
  67. These green cones stick up out of the floor and cannot be 
  68. passed through.  The only way to remove these cones is to 
  69. reach the green button which will make the cones descend 
  70. into the floor.

  72. CRATES
  73. These wooden crates can be moved with your man by pushing them 
  74. in any direction.  Crates can also be used to block force fields.

  76. METEOR BALLS
  77. Meteor balls can be pushed in any direction.  They will continue 
  78. to move in the direction that they are pushed until they hit 
  79. another object or the side of the game board.  Meteor balls can 
  80. also be used to block force fields.

  82. FORCE FIELD LASERS
  83. These lasers send out a force field beam which prevents humans 
  84. from passing through them.  They can be blocked by cones, 
  85. meteor balls and crates.

  87. KEY
  88. The yellow key unlocks and opens up the control panel box.

  90. CONTROL PANEL BOX
  91. The red control panel is your objective.  You must first unlock 
  92. it by using the yellow key.

  120. This game does not allow for multi-tasking.  The Esc, Alt-Tab,
  121. Ctrl-Tab with exit the game.

  127. The unregistered Shareware version of Axium Adventures 
  128. has 10 puzzles.  The registered version of Axium Adventures 
  129. has 50 mind-bending puzzles with all the solutions provided!
  130. It also eliminates the delays loading and exiting the game.
